Anti-SARS Soiree /感恩晚會 圓滿落幕
The anti-SARS soiree was held in the City Hall at 7 p.m. on June 20th. It is intended to show gratitude and respect to all who devoted themselves to the battle against SARS. The winners of the sweepstake "taking temperature, winning 1,000,000 dollars" were drawn during the soiree. Thanks for the citizens' corporation, Mayor Hsieh said, the activity was very successful. Special thanks go to those who has dedicated themselves to fight against SARS. Moreover, at the urgent moment, overseas Taiwanese merchants in America and Thailand provide essential help, which baths us in the warmth of friendship.
六月廿日晚間七時在市府中庭，舉行「量體溫百萬抽獎暨感謝晚會」，向所有參與抗煞人士致敬，表達感恩情意，並公開抽出參與「量體溫、獎百萬」活動的所有獎項。謝市長表示，為期十天的「量體溫、獎百萬」活動至六月十日結束，非常成功，感謝市民合作，尤其特別感謝在抗煞過程中付出心力的相關人員，對海外包括美國、泰國台商指定贊助支持高雄市，謝市長說，在緊急需要時，這更讓我們覺得友情的可貴。
