Discover Kaohsiung's Night Life / 動靜皆宜的高雄夜生活

As the sun sets, the neon signs light up along the streets of Kaohsiung and the city comes alive. In search of adventure folks head out to explore Kaohsiung's night life. Two featured hotspots featured in this night life tour are the mystical and fascinating "Black House Restaurant and Lounge" and the "Dreams Restaurant and Pub".
The Black House Restaurant and Lounge
It is located across Cisian Bridge. It can be identified as a big black building on the corner of Cisian 2nd Road. In the daytime it appears to be rather insignificant, however, when night falls and the lights come on, the peony black walls emit a magical aura. The Black House Restaurant and Lounge opened last year.opened last year.
The black background is decorated with golden curtains and big red peonies. This creates a wonderful and stylish Chinese atmosphere. The dining room is on the second floor, which provides dinners private areas where they can enjoy the food and atmosphere. The bar is located on the first floor and also provides a small semi-enclosed dining room with sofas, seats and transparent French windows. Passers by can peer into the French windows and watch the patrons inside, enjoying their evening. These famous unique dining areas have become known as "transparent closets".
The owner of the Black House Restaurant and Lounge wants to provide a private dining experience. It is a fantastic space for office workers to relax in exclusive areas without the interference of others. The second floor, the dimmed lights and soft music create a soothing atmosphere. The lights also change color creating the feeling you are in another world. Seize the moment and enjoy one of their featured drinks known as "Luxurious Life". Here visitors can let all their troubles slip away. Please note alcohol will not be sold to under aged people.
Dreams (Dreams Restaurant and Pub)
The largest disco pub in Kaohsiung features a different theme every night. After midnight, DJ's create an exciting atmosphere. Featuring hip hop music, Dreams has become one of Kaohsiung's greatest hot spots.
The pub is 1,200-square meters, with a 10-meter ceiling and can accommodate up to 2,000 people. With so much space people don't feel crowded on the dance floor. The owner employs security guards in order to ensure the patron's safety and an undisturbed fun filled night.
You can never get bored at Dreams as every night is guaranteed to be different. Monday nights are "DJ Night"; Tuesday "Business Ladies and Gentlemen Night"; Wednesday "School Uniform Dream Night"; Thursday "Unlimited Happy Hour Night"; Friday "Glamorous Fashion Night"; Saturday "Wild Party Night"; Sunday "Singles Night". It also provides a performance venue for famous Taiwanese singers. At Dreams offers a wide range of entertainment and caters to a variety of groups. It is this variety that has allowed Dream to emerge as a happening hot spot in such a short time. Dreams does not serve alcohol to under-aged drinkers.

天際漸漸由紅轉暗，炙熱的太陽墜入落地平面下，此時，街上的霓虹燈陸續發光發亮，想找一個渲洩情緒的出口嗎？不論是神奇迷漾的「黑樓」，亦或是熱情奔放的「Dreams」，都足以滿足您對高雄市夜生活的想望。
黑樓
跨過七賢橋，就在七賢二路轉角有一棟黑色的建物，白天看起來並不起眼，但當黑幕籠罩大地，建物的四周的燈光開啟，黑色牆面上的牡丹花，在光影的投射下，不但呈現出迷幻炫麗的情境，更透出幾許神秘的氛圍......，這就是去年才開幕的「黑樓」。
結合餐廳及Lounge型態的「黑樓」，以黑色為基調，搭配金色布幔和大紅色的牡丹花，創造出華麗璀璨的中國風，很有時尚感。為保障客人隱私，「黑樓」的座席都設在二樓，但一樓吧台旁邊卻有一個半開放式的「小包廂」，裡面有沙發和桌椅，隔著透明的落地窗，窗外的行人可以看清裡面的一舉一動，在這個「透明櫥」用餐的客人，可享受與眾不同的用餐體驗。
「黑樓」的業者希望提供一個極具私密性的用餐飲酒場所，讓白天工作繁忙的上班族，完全不受外界干擾，享有個人專屬的休憩空間，上到二樓，昏暗的空間，飄盪著會讓人心情舒緩的沙發音樂，在變化莫端的燈光映射下，就像向進入異次元空間般，此時此刻，啜飲一口特調的「奢華人生」，將白天的不愉快，全部拋諸腦後。(未成年請勿飲酒)
Dreams
全高雄市最大的獨棟式 Disco Pub ─「Dreams」，就像一位善變的神秘女郎，每晚均以不同的主題炒熱現場的氣氛，經由多位DJ的輪番砲轟，「Dreams」的夜晚只能說是愈夜愈high！
去年崛起的「Dreams」，走的Mix Match路線，以嘻哈音樂為主軸，400坪大的獨棟式建物裡，擁有「高人一等」的挑高10米空間，不但沒有壓迫感，更寬敞到足可容納兩千人之多，想下舞池小試身手，也不用擔心跟別人摩肩接踵。為了消費者的安全，業者從開店到散場，全程由保全人員嚴密監控，為的就是要讓來到這裡的客人都能盡情擺腰扭臀，縱情歡樂。
「Dreams」活動內容夜夜更迭，讓客人樂此不疲，包括星期一的DJ狂熱曠課夜、星期二的紳士淑女名片夜、星期三的制服誘惑幻想夜、星期四的無限暢歡樂夜、星期五的時尚造型璀璨夜、星期六的週末瘋狂派對夜、星期日的曠男怨女配對夜，此外，還不定期邀請國內知名藝人舉辦演唱會，每晚不同的主題，不但滿足不同客層的需求，更帶動現場的熱絡氣氛，「Dreams」能夠在高雄市夜店圈迅速走紅，不是沒有原因的。(未成年請勿飲酒)
