IT Month Exhibition in Kaohsiung/遨遊e時代 寬頻無線新紀元
The IT Month exhibition in Kaohsiung will take place during 6-14 January 2002 in the Taisugar Logistics Park. Aside from various sections and theme pavilions set up in previous years, the exhibition organizers this year have planned a new interactive section called "Love in the time of digitization." In this section, visitors can join many interesting and interactive games designed to promote the knowledge and applications of broadband and wireless technology, echoing the theme of this year's IT Month exhibition: the E-Era of Wireless and Broadband.
The exhibition in Kaohsiung will set up a unique Telecommunications Pavilion aimed at promoting broadband Internet access. In recent months, many ISPs have slashed the fees for broadband access by as much as nine-tenths. Symmetrical broadband access will soon be affordable for many households, ushering in a new era of integrated voice and data, video conferencing, and interactive distance education services.
As Taiwan's first international professional logistics park, the Taisugar Logistics Park is divided into warehousing and distribution center, processing and transshipment center, international convention center, and exhibition center that are intended to provide integrated management services for the brick-and-mortar logistics, business flow, money flow, and information flow. This is the first time the Kaohsiung's IT Month exhibition is held in the Taisugar Logistics Park. 由中華民國資訊月活動執行委員會主辦，高雄市電腦公會承辦之90年中華民國資訊月高雄區展示活動，將於91年元月６日至14日止，假台糖高雄物流中心舉辦。

與其他地區比起來，高雄資訊展還有一項特色：設置「電信館」。最近電信業者紛紛祭出網路費用調降，價格一下子down到過去的十倍之低，讓平價雙向對稱寬頻時代提前到來，正式宣告整合的語音、視訊會議、互動式遠距教學的新世紀來臨。
