The Information Bureau is established according to “the regulations of standardizing and organizing of Kaohsiung city hall” and in accordance to the combination of Kaohsiung City and Kaohsiung County in December 25th, 2010. The Information Bureau takes charge of the guidance of government’s order and achievements, city marketing, releasing news, audio-visual guidance, collecting public opinions and press services. The bureau has arranged a director-general, a deputy director-general, a chief secretary, and a senior executive officer. The subsidiary organizations are Division of Broadcasting Affairs, Public Notices and News Services, Division of Publications, Secretary Office, Accounting Office, Personnel Office and Civil Service Ethics Office.
