Kaohsiung residents have seen several new events and activities successfully held for two or three years. In the upcoming new year, these widely-liked events will provide the public with much more fun.
In year 2005, "Kaohsiung Mobile Exhibition Hall", which just kicked off this November, travels to neighboring cities and counties and participates in their events to promote Kaohsiung. It's main destinations are Chiayi County, Kaohsiung County,and Pingtung County. At the first stop of Dongshih Harbor in Chiayi County, local residents attended exhibitions displaying Kaohsiung's culture and constructions and enjoyed magic show, saxophone and romantic singing concert, as well as a fantastic dance performed by Cheerleaders at Shu Te University. The event also featured a "2009 World Games Q&A" game, which aimed at advertising the "2009 World Games in Kaohsiung" and offered participants a chance to win great prizes.
Apart from Dongshih Town in Chiayi County, "Kaohsiung Mobile Exhibition Hall" continued touring to Yongan Recreation in Kaohsiung County, the Lovers' Pier Cieding in Qieding Town, Hakka Cultural Hall in Meinong Town, and the Chaozhou Elementary School in Pingtung. With the warm welcome of local residents, it has brought about optimal effects for marketing Kaohsiung.

高雄市近年來幾項新活動，都陸續邁入了第二、三年，這些以往備受肯定的活動，在新年度中，將以更佳方式呈現，讓高雄市及外縣市的民眾大飽眼福。 從11月開始登場的是「高雄行動館」，這個到外縣市推廣高雄市的行動館，2005年結合鄰近縣市舉辦之活動，以南部嘉義縣、高雄縣與屏東縣為宣傳地。首站來到嘉義縣東石漁港，除了展示高雄的建設及文化外，同時還有樹德科大啦啦隊帶來的精采活力表演、奇幻魔術秀、薩克斯風演奏及浪漫情歌演唱等，在活動進行的同時還設計2009世運會有獎徵答，除了宣導「2009世運在高雄」，現場參與民眾更獲得豐富的獎品。 除了嘉義東石外，高雄行動館還陸續前往高雄縣永安鄉休閒廣場、茄萣情人碼頭、美濃客家文物館及屏東縣潮州國小。均受到當地民眾熱烈歡迎，也讓高雄市的城市宣傳，得到了最好的成果。 |
