Kaohsiung Signed Contract with BOT re Sewage Plant / 高雄市楠梓污水下水道BOT案簽約
The Kaohsiung City Government and the Green Forest Development Enterprise Co. Ltd., signed a 35-year contract for a sewage treatment plant in the Nanzih area, which will complete Kaohsiung's sewage network system. Its capacity will be 75,000CMD and its completion date is expected to be in three years time. This is the first BOT (Building Operation Transfer) project in the field of sewage, with a private company, in the nation.
高雄市政府與綠山林公司簽定三十五年期的污水廠興建與營運工程，將在楠仔區興建一座75,000CMD的二級污水處理廠，每日處理七萬五千噸的污水，約三年後完工，營運期三十二年，並完成興建高雄市楠梓地區污水下水道管網系統。
這件BOT案簽約成功，創下了全國第一件污水下水道BOT的示範案例，也為台灣的污水道建設寫下歷史新頁。
